There are at least two artists with the name 'cleft' or 'Cleft'. 1. A British mathrock 2-piece (active from 2011 to present) 2. A German artist, the brainchild of Sven Brian (active from 2007 to 2009) 1. Cleft are a 2-piece band from Manchester, UK who formed in 2011. They make massive, dirty noises. Their debut EP - 'Utter' - was released on 15th June 2012, with the second called 'Whale Bone' following on the 22nd September 2012.
