Claw The Thin Ice started as the solo recordings of Ian Breen. Ian plays in Day For Airstrikes, Well Wisher and Borland. There are two full records up for free download - SLEEP IS NOT FOR US and GO WHERE GHOSTS - on clawthethinice.bandcamp.com May 2013 sees the first release by the newly full-band Claw The Thin Ice. The full band is completed by John Simpson, Danny Jones and Toby Potter. John and Danny both play in Day For Airstrikes. Danny used to play drums in Beecher. Toby formerly played bass in Portman and Yves. He co-runs the excellent website Manchester Scenewipe. Their first full-length, full-band album PONY WALKER is out on May 20th 2013.
