Claire Parsons, born in 1993, is a Luxembourgish/British singer-songwriter and composer whose deep passion for music emerged at a young age. She pursued an extensive musical education, studying classical and jazz piano, classical and electric guitar, as well as jazz and classical theory and vocals. In 2020, she earned a Master of Arts in Jazz Vocals from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels, under the guidance of acclaimed Belgian jazz singer David Linx and pianist Diederik Wissels. Parsons' talent has been widely recognized, winning the title of 'Best Upcoming Musician' and receiving two nominations at the Luxembourg Music Awards in 2018. She further distinguished herself by winning the 'First Prize Albert Michiels' at the B-Jazz International Contest in 2019 and the first prize at the "Jazz Maastricht Professional Awards" in 2020 with the Brussels-based project Aishinka. Her involvement in numerous projects as a musician and composer has led her to perform on national and international stages, gaining the attention of professionals worldwide. In 2019, she released her first EP «OnOff» with the Claire Parsons & Eran Har Even Duo. This was followed by her debut album “In Geometry” with her Quintet in May 2020, which was released by Double Moon Records (Challenge Records) and featured in the popular German jazz magazine “Jazz thing” as part of their 'Next Generation Vol. 83' series.
