Clabberhag was an all-girl trio residing in Spokane, WA. They began their adventure in 1994 and continued into 2000. In the winter of 2005 they decided not to deprive themselves of creating and playing music together anymore. They released 3 records; one on NERVOUS WRECKORDS in 1995, a split 7" on NERVOUS WRECKORDS/TOO MANY RECORDS as well as their final record which was self-released in 1996. They also contributed to local compilations such as David Hayes' "Lie Lack City" and "Faux Pas Potpourri", as well as Micah Prim's "Making Human Junk" compilation on HYBRID RECORDS. Clabberhag were together for about 6 years playing many local and out of town all-ages/bar shows with amazing local (shout-out) and touring bands such as; D.O.A., NOMEANSNO, Melt-Banana, GAS HUFFER, THE MAKERS and more. They also had the amazing and rare opportunity to be booked at Gilman Street along side fellow bands INTIFADA, CAUSE and THE ADVERSIVES as part of their first and only booked tour. But alas the girls broke up a day before and it never happened. So they reunited later adding a new 2nd female guitarist, Sonny, as well as Rick Eyre (of Cause) to play bass briefly. The sound changed drastically however they never had anything recorded with that line up. They rejoined with original bassist, Val, and continued with Sonny until they began to go their separate ways. The girls started new bands, some married and bred, others had career/life advancements while one transitioned into her true idenity
