CITY FIXX was put together during 1987 in Baltimore, MD, with the following line-up: Kevin Bern-lead vocalist, Anthony Carrera-Bass, Victor Carrera-Guitar, Michael "Skinz" Skinsacos-Guitar, and Eric Anderson-Drums. With a lot of supporting-slots to bands such as GREAT WHITE, TORA TORA, FEMME FATALE, HEAVEN & CHILD’S PLAY, and a massive radio support, CITY FIXX became soon a Rock favorite by many Hard-Rock fans in the Maryland and Pennsylvania area. Armed with strong original material, a great infectious live-show, solid musicianship and a big self-confidence and desire to be “the next big thing”, CITY FIXX entered (between 1989 and 1991) recording-studio working with legendary producer Kim Fowley (Kiss, Poison, Ritchie Blackmore, Runaways) and recorded a bunch of demos and some never-released sessions, all of them will be contained in the next-to-be-released CD, to be featured in the “Lost U.S. Jewels” Series. “Somewhat of a cross between Poison, Warrant and L.A. Guns, CITY FIXX focuses on one thing in their music: fun, fun and more fun!” (Foundations News - April 10, 1989) “By combining bluesy melodies and sleazy vocals, CITY FIXX were entertaining from start to finish. The band left the stage a mess and the crowd exhilarated” (LIVEWIRE mag - 1989) “City Fixx: highly energized, unpredictable and immensely powerful local scorchers with an incomparable Metal confidence and dexterity” (ROX mag - 1990) User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA Lic
