From the bands About page: During their undergraduate years in Blacksburg, Virginia, Aiden England and Austin Spencer discovered their similar music tastes and shared passion for rock and metal music. Looking for something new after primarily doing solo work, the two agreed to join forces and form a collaborative project. In March 2020, the first demo was created for what would eventually become “Last Mile”. Later that year, the group would agree on the name “Circle 9”. This is the first official collaborative music project for both of them. Circle 9 combines a wide range of styles, from Industrial Rock to Progressive Metal, while exploring concepts between Man, Machine, and the Ethereal. The band’s debut EP A Beetle on Its Back was released in April 2024. Singles “Hikikomori” and “Last Mile” were released in 2021, available on all platforms.
