Cim Ciaru (pronounced Chim Cheroo) are a three piece rock n' roll power trio, with matching jackets from Perth, Western Australia. Their sound, a sound they like to call “Full Spectrum Rock and Roll”, draws influence from a wide range of musical styles, centering them upon a solid base of Rock And Roll. The music sits comfortably between 60's/70's Rock and 90's alternative with The Beatles, Frank Zappa, Cream, Soundgarden and You Am I as some of their main influences. It's been an exciting year and a bit for Cim Ciaru, who got started as a band some time between Christmas and Boxing Day the year before last and played their first show a couple of days into 2009. Since then they've been winning over hearts and minds with their well crafted songs, technical skill, quirky stage antics and vast and varied repetoire of songs.
