Ciarán first came to prominence working under the pseudonym "Wee Oisín's Uncle", while he toured the vibrant music scene in the Gortnahee area. He began playing mostly a blend of Dundalk Disco and Ambient Antrim Acid Jazz, before cementing his place amongst the Gortnahee scene's greats, such as Paddy "Banjo Kicker" O'Flangan, by switching over to a more agressive genre, Claudy Crunkhaus, which he then became synonymous with. After conquering Gortnahee clubs, Wee Oisín's Uncle was quickly snapped up by Parker Records, which has gone down in history as one of the music industry's most celebrated coups. Working with Parker Records, the Donegal native released the multi-magnesium selling record, "Sergeant Parker's Blurtshee Buckclub Band". The album was an instant classic within in the genre. After the death of his mentor and proclaimed "pioneer of hoopla", Uncle "Peter Parker" Pete, the Wee Oisín's Uncle project was put to bed and Ciarán began recording under his birthname. He called the move, "a mark of respect to the Don of Chapebeatz". His music became much more introspective, exploring themes such as the alienation between father and son in the song, "2 Parkers, 1 Pete" and the effects alcohol can have in damaging once prodigious artists in the Gammy nominated, "Chapes of Wrath". Ciarán's new direction has drawn plaudits from every corner of the music industry, highlighted by his upcoming stadium tour next year, where he plans to fill Tolka Park, Tallaght Stadium and most
