Christophe Marguet - Drummer and Composer Born May 14, 1965. Studies with Jacques BONNARDEL, Michel SARDABY and Keith COPELAND. Workshops and master classes with Kenny BARRON, Rufus REID, Victor LEWIS, David LIEBMAN, Richie BEIRACH, Ron Mc LURE, Billy HART et John ABERCROMBIE. After winning the National Jazz Competition « La défense » in 1995, the band has played several festivals (Sons d’hiver, Banlieues Bleues, La Villette, Amiens, Le Mans, Lausanne...) and recorded its first album « RESISTANCE POETIQUE » (Label Bleu) which has won the « Django d’Or » (best new french group) in 1997.
