Artist
Christoph Staude (born 1965 in Munich) is a german composer. He studied 1984-86 on the Hochschule der Künste Berlin with Witold Szalonek and 1986-91 on the Musikhochschule Frankfurt with Rolf Riehm and Bernhard Kontarsky. Since 1995 he lives as freelance composer in Holzheim (Neuss). The wellsprings of Christoph Staude’s music are many and varied. His interest in a large number of languages (including those of the Far East) and their systems of symbols has given rise to a wide-ranging nexus of references, as has the backdrop formed by his studies of world literature, cognitive systems, and the sister arts.
