Christer Björkman (born August 25, 1957 in Borås, Sweden) is a Swedish singer. He was a hairdresser, and had a hair-salon in Borås. He started his career by recording a song called "Våga och Vinn" which was produced by Bruno Glenmark (Mid 1980's) He won Melodifestivalen 1992 with "I morgon är en annan dag", and represented Sweden at the Eurovision Song Contest 1992. He finished second last, Sweden's worst result at the contest since 1977. He is now supervisor of Melodifestivalen, a post he has held since 2002.He is however regarded, by his peers as being somewhat of a controversiel person and was recently accused of manipulation the jury which chooses the particpating songs. A police report was recently filed against Björkman on this issue.
