Chris Manura thinks that A DJ has to surprise. He succeeds with that for 18 years now by bringing his feeling for humans and music in harmony. If he enters a club where he is booked, he observes the present, even the moves of their feet. Once he knows the situtation, he will decice what to play and how. not uncommonly he decides to reinterprete a composition by using a sampler. Sometimes he awarely enacts breaks to his predecessor, because only then he can take the crowd on his journey. A journey that opens the the souls of the visitors, giving them the chance to flow unprejudiced - sometimes in lower-than-average BPM-ranges. Party has to work in the head of the individual. That means for Chris Manura to evoke emotions on the listeners. He follows that concept as a DJ as well as a producer. he produces his own tracks for many years, which are published on "Zwischenwelten", "Esoulate", "Dirtydrivesounds" and more, and are characterized by their melodies and harmonies and constantly transport emotions and moods. DJ, producer and artist - those are terms which already describe Chris Manura, but the image wouldn't be complete without the organizer. As one of the oldest residents of the "Distillery", Chris Manura initiated the event "Finest Selection" eight years ago, which is now a permanent feature of the club program. He also organizes the "No Music No Life"-nights in the "Elipamanoke" in Leipzig, DE. He coordinates the evenings where artists which he finds currently interest
