Chris Immanuel are Jan-Willem van Noord en Jelle Verhoeff, both born and raised in the city of Utrecht. Their love for music began at an early age, behind the turntables. Jan-Willem en Jelle both grew up in families where music was always part of the environment. Jan-Willem played accordion, drums and performed as a rapper several times. As a break-dancer, Jelle performed in Madrid and Brno and experiences music in a physical way. For Chris Immanuel, things naturally evolved from practicing at home to every now and then performing for public.
