Artist
(Caveat: Jo Jang Hyuk: "Jo" is pronounced as "Cho" in Korean, and is therefore often spelled that way in English) . Jo Jang Hyuk is an experienced and enthusiastic musician, who composes and sings his own songs. He studied music at Seoul Institute of Arts, and in 1994, he wrote a song and directed five of the songs on Cha In Pyo's album. In 1995, he did the theme song for Kang Soo Yeon in the movie "Go Alone Like Rhinoceros's Horn." Finally, in 1996, he wrote โChangeโ and โEven If You Leaveโ for the movie Change. Later that year, Cho releases his first single (1996), beginning his musical career in earnest. From the beginning, his unique voice and pleasant melodies captured the public's attention. He released 4 more singles since then in 1998; in the year 2000 he released the popular album, "Love"; more releases followed in 2001 and in 2003 and he has consistently done well in the ratings. Now he is one of the more famous musicians in the Korean Pop world, and is known to be one of the musicians most admired by other singers. Jo had currently slowed down most of his recording activities after the fifth album (2003), but then released his best album at the end of 2004.
