Artist
Gregory Rybarski (born September 10, 1968), professionally known as Chip Z'Nuff, is an American bassist, songwriter, and producer best known as a founding member of the band Enuff Z'Nuff. Z'Nuff was inspired by iconic bass players like Paul McCartney and Geddy Lee, which shaped his preference for melodic, foundational grooves. Before music, he pursued baseball, even trying out for Major League teams, but his passion for music prevailed, and he formed Enuff Z'Nuff in 1984 alongside vocalist and rhythm guitarist Donnie Vie after his first band, We’re Staying, fell apart. Throughout their career, Enuff Z'Nuff faced personal and professional turmoil, including substance abuse issues among band members, lineup changes, and financial setbacks. Notably, Chip’s dedication kept the band afloat during these hardships. After Donnie Vie’s second departure from Enuff Z'Nuff in 2013, and the short reunion between common replacement vocalist Johnny Monaco, who left vocal duties in 2016, Chip opted to take over lead vocals for the band permanently. Chip has appeared on every Enuff Z’Nuff release (with the exception of One More for the Road), as well as having toured with the likes of notorious rock acts such as Missing Persons, Steven Adler, Cheap Trick, Poison, The Tragically Hip, Foreigner, Alice Cooper, REO Speedwagon, Ace Frehley, and others. Chip has had two solo album releases, Strange Time and Perfectly Imperfect. He released an EP alongside former Guns N' Roses drummer Steven Ad
