SUN FLOWER JAZZ continues this search into new realms of Ethnotrance and Ambient grooves. According to these modern primitives, "We use the Spiritual as our guide and traditional ethnic music as our base." Maurice implements a well-crafted assortment of styles on SUN FLOWER JAZZ... deep, stimulating, and relaxing is what you'll take away from this brilliant audio excursion. Chill Factor-5 is on the precipice of the Nu Music movement and is in fact leading the way in organic, spiritual renderings of what we like to call "A Mystic Journey,” offering a similar experience to the popular releases from the Buddha-Bar and Cafe Del Mar. Maurice founded the band, Rhythm Method, with his brother Steve. The band featured live percussion, keyboards and guitar and performed in such renowned venues as the Melkweg/Milky Way in Amsterdam and Exit and Tressor in Berlin. Rhythm Method was one of the first American bands to perform live at the Love Parade in Berlin. In New York City the band performed regularly at The Limelight, The Shelter, The Ritz and The Roxy.
