COTD were formed in 2005 after mutual respect between a group of rappers, beatmakers and cool motherlovers developed into a serious music making outfit. The group came about via meeting at hiphop events in London and via the infamous Deal Real cypher sessions. Several blaze sessions later and visits back and forth between Liverpool, Blackburn and London turned it into what it is today. It is essentially the coming together of two groups, a northern half which is comprised of underground heavyweights Salar (Wirral, Merseyside) and Lee Scott (Runcorn) of Antiheroes fame, Scouse hiphop legend T.L aka Tony Broke (Liverpool), Bill Shakes (Blackburn) and King Grubb (Accrington/Ostwaldtwistle). The London half consists of childhood cohorts Monster Under The Bed, Dilner The Lost Kid aka Sly Moon, Barebase and Dutch Master J. LIPA music business graduate Alex Jennings is part of the Blah Records* management and producer/sound engineer Reklews completes the Blah family. In November 2007 their debut release and also their first album entitled 'Tourettes Camp' was launched in CD format independantly under the collective name of Blah Records (more of a movement and ideology that binds independant artists together and provides a platform to be heard as opposed to an actual record label) and achieved alot in terms of recognition in the industry and critical acclaim. It established the group as a force in underground hiphop and cemented their place in the scene with their name on the lips
