Chidori is an experimental post-hardcore band from Atlanta, Georgia, United States. In 2021 the band released their debut EP: "Overly Excited For Underwhelming Situations", it's an EP of pure post-hardcore nostalgia crafted by young homebodies Bryan Hampton & Caleb Trice. The two spent months writing and recording a majority of the EP's demos throughout 2017. After working out the finer details between hiatus's, the songs were finally complete by early 2021. Influenced by coming-of-age, break-ups, anxiety, & lack of sleep; "Overly Excited For Underwhelming Situations" brings a nostalgic charge of sincerity to our lives, a communal rhythm that has seemingly been lost.
