Trondheim Jazz Orchestra is the leading jazz ensemble in Norway and has its origins in the reputable jazz department of NTNU. During the course of the last few years, the orchestra has had a great number of exiting projects with Norwegian and international jazz profiles. Just think of the great project with Chick Corea during the Molde Int. Jazz Festival in 2000 directed by Erlend Skomsvoll. In 2001, the concert was developed into a nationwide concert hall tour of Norway. In the autumn of 2004, the concert was released on a CD called “Live in Molde” (mnj cd 001).
