Chewing Magnetic Tape is an international goatic collective based around the Sicilian bucks Biccio, Giuvè and Vicè. They are supported in their recordings by a growing number of friends and collaborators, most frequently by the singers Zuzi (of the duo Dreamhunter) and Mary. The three stable members of CMT are also long time members of Immagine TV, an experimental band known in the Palermo underground scene since the early eighties and currently on hiatus. Immagine TV have never published official records during their active period, but have recorded for several years songs, rehearsals, improvised jam sessions and live concerts. Some of these recordings have been published in the last years on CD-R in the Shoebox Series. More volumes of the Shoebox Series will follow in the next years on Chewing Magnetic Records...
