Soul singers Cherrelle & Alexander O'Neal had two hit duets in the 80s. "Saturday Love" was a successful top ten UK and US R&B hit for Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle in 1985. The song appeared on Cherelle's album High Priority. It reached #6 in the UK and #2 in the US R&B chart. It was also the highest charting single for Alexander O'Neal in Ireland, reaching #7 in the Irish Singles Chart. Samples of O'Neal's vocals have been used in the dance hit "My Feeling" by Junior Jack. In 2007, Alexander O'Neal re-recorded the track for his album Alex Loves.. which was released in February 2008. This version featured the vocals of Bianca Lindgren in place of Cherelle. "Never Knew Love Like This" was a successful hit for Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle in 1988, reaching #2 in the US R&B chart, #26 in the UK and #28 in the Billboard Hot 100. It was the second time Alexander O'Neal and Cherrelle sang together. They sang "Saturday Love" together back in 1985. "Never Knew Love Like This" is featured on Alexander O'Neal's album Hearsay which was released in 1986. The Video was recorded in London.
