Chen Reiss is a soprano opera singer, particularly known for her portrayal of Gilda in Verdi's Rigoletto. She is a frequent performer with the Pittsburgh Symphony and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, and has worked under the Argentinian conductor Daniel Barenboim. Her solo CD with songs and arias by Mozart, Schubert, Spohr and Lachner and accompanied the WDR Radio Orchestra was released in 2009. Another CD with Italian songs by Schubert and Donizetti was released in 2007. Her latest CD "Liaisons" was awarded a "Diapason d'Or" by French magazine Diapason.
