Checkpoint is a name for at least three bands: 1. Melbourne band, containing Jordan from Pinch Points, Miranda from Dr Sure’s Unusual Practice, Tom from Gonzo and Dragnet, Amada from Carpet Burn, Gutter Girls plus Chris and Erik from Hobsons Bay Coast Guard. 2. Ukrainian blues rock band. 3. Russian hip-hop band. 4. Czech rock-crossover z Prahy. 5. Polish emo band. Description: You could say that we reborn in November 2009. Two young people have joined Checkpoint and brought with them a lot of energy, creativity and freshness, which resulted in some completely new material. Bands music is described as screamo, violent emo and post hardcore. It is mix of agression, noise and melody. To sum up: new people, new music, more energy and more rock and roll. There are no venues they can't play at. If you want to have a party with a concert in your dad's garage, Checkpoint will come with pleasure.
