This great young mandolin player/vocalist, with such a great and memorable smile, is the only member of the Josh Williams Band that was not connected to Josh in earlier periods of time. Chase is also the youngest member of the band. Chase tells of becoming a fan of Josh's after listening to a copy of his "Lonesome Highway" CD, given to him by a friend in his hometown of Chilhowie, Virginia. He also relates how his mother and grandmother became huge fans of Josh's music and thought Josh should start his own band with Chase playing mandolin. Ironically, that is pretty well what came to pass. Chase started teaching himself to play guitar at thirteen years of age, and to play mandolin at fifteen.
