Chas10 (www.myspace.com/chas10dub) a.k.a. Sam de Bruijn starting making and spinning music as a young teenager in the mid 1990’s. During this early period he focused mainly on rave, breakbeat, garage and drum’n bass. His fascination with dubstep began when a friend introduced him to some early live mixes of the DMZ parties in the UK. A new love was born instantly. He was turned on by the relaxed vibes and low resonating frequencies which encompassed the sound of dubstep. He was also impressed by the diversity of the sound within the genre. Chas10's exposure to dubstep was just the push he needed to rebuild his studio and focus on his production. Hailing from Holland, he has been able to experience the rapid growth of Holland's active dubstep scene.
