Charlie Rock started his music career by pursuing the path of the DJ. His journey took him into the city parks of New York, where he battle and mixed his way all over Harlem, Uptown Manhattan and 125th. Street. Well known was he for producing beats with Old school, hip hop legend Pumpkin. Soon after Charlie Rock formed and founded a rap group entitled "Fantasy 3" along with his co-founders Silver Fox, and Larry D. The collaboration between them lead to a track called "It's your Rock", which is still a DJ classic today. Un-be known to them that this track would lead them on a roller coaster tour of excitement, rubbing elbows with the likes of Run Dmc, Kurtis Blow, LL Cool J, Fearless Four, Cold Crush Brothers & the Treacherous Three to name a few. After many years of following the Hip hop path, Charlie Rock combined both the knowledge & experience he gained on the road and in the studio with his new found love for dance music. The outcome was a track written and produced by himself for Freestyle recording artist, Giggles. The track entitled "What goes around comes around" won the best dance song category at the New York Music Awards that year. Charlie Rock & Giggles continued creating music and released an album shortly after with tracks such as "He said, she said" & "Love Letter" which both became hits and received a vast amount of radio air play.
