Charlie's was born in the Santurce neighborhood of San Juan Puerto Rico, on November 4, 1921 his parents were Fabriciano Figueroa and Ángela Rosario and was baptized as Carlos Fabriciano Figueroa Rosario, His first recording was made in 1940, he was 19 years old his musical beginnings made them with a duet that conformed with his sister Carmencita, presenting himself with the name of "Los Hermanos Figueroa", later enters like singer to the orchestra of the boricua Rafael Muñoz, also integrated by the pianist Charlie Palmieri. He died at the age of 27, a victim of liver cirrhosis, on October 25, 1955.
