From the Winter Strawberry Capital of the World (Plant City, FL), Los Angeles actress Charleene Closshey has dedicated her life to continually developing her artistic crafts. After attending the Harrison Center for Performing Arts high school in Lakeland, Florida, she continued her artistic education at both Circle in the Square Theater School in New York City and with Juilliard’s Dalcroze studies, currently coaching with industry pros Kimberly Jenzten and Sam Christensen in Los Angeles. Recent theatrical projects include the feature film “A Thousand Cuts”, television pilot “Terminal Kill”, and a variety of appearances in other feature and short films. Charleene filmed the role St. Clare in the short art film and documentary project “Walking with Francis”, premiering in Assisi, Italy April 2012. On the stage, Charleene appeared in the original Los Angeles productions of A War Cycle: Wounded (LA Theatre Ensemble)and Sherwood Forrest as Maid Marian (LA Festival of New American Musicals), performing contrasting lead roles in regional productions of The Wild Party (Kate), Nine (Claudia), Hair (Shelia), and Jekyll and Hyde (Emma).
