Chaotic Inner Child, represented in artwork by the acronym CIC is pronounced "sick." As of yet it is a one person lineup made up of DragonBomber (with the exception of Strong Babby Pitchfork, and unnamed others in jam sessions, sample creation, remixes, and scripting exercises), known to spend enormous amounts of time on the Internet. The song titles are sometimes inspired by the visual appearance of each song's WAV file in various editors, and the overall sound or feeling. The naming is similar to a sort of Rorschach inkblot test. That is the core that is tooled with, though recently more normal composing has been undertaken as well. The sound of the core chaos can best be described as experimental noise, with redundant, over-amplified patterns using stock samples, vocal recordings, and original sounds. Some instruments are rendered from JPGs, TXT files, LNK files, BATs, and other non-audio formats, creating at times percussion, white noise, woodwind, and brass samples from otherwise useless data. Songs are almost entirely created in DOS/Ubuntu/XP/NDS-based trackers. The 2001 CD-R/mp3 release, "The Worst of a Dragon", a 2008 mp3 single "Assorted Stones and Rockery", a 2009 mp3 single "A Found Dimension", and a Renoise project "The Life and Times of Baron von Vermis" (a silent film soundtrack) released for the holidays in 2010, are the only releases as of yet.
