28.7.2010: After three years of Chameleonic Cadence, they have decided to part company with Mercan. More infos: http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=385350831&blogId=537620235 It all started with Daniel’s (guit./voc.) and Judith’s (drums) enormous passion for music. After founding a rehearsal room in 2006, Mercan (voc), Luke (guit.) and Sebastian (bass) joined them one year later, the alternative rock band, Chameleonic Cadence, was complete. Very soon after their formation, their first songs were recorded; finally, in June 2008, Chameleonic Cadence performed on stage for the first time. In the following months the five musicians filled several well-known venues in Vienna (Szene, B72, U4, Chelsea), played at different Festivals (Donauinselfest 08, World Bodypainting Festival 09) and performed in other Austrian provinces – clearly, the band is onto something, and the public agree. With unparalleled enthusiasm, they both write and compose their own music; they manage their own shows and take care of their own advertising, from local gigs to national events. Music is not just a part of their lives; it is their lives. Even their name, Chameleonic Cadence, has its origins in music. Cadence, is a term used in classical music denoting complex, original compositions; Chameleonic represents variety, vicissitude and the ability to assume new identities. Altogether, Chameleonic Cadence is a young, ambitious and extremely hard working alternative rock ban
