Challis consist of husband and wife Len and Liz Challis, who met in one of their early bands and have played in numerous groups and bands since. Finally, they decided to record their own music they'd written over the years and released their first album But The Good News Is... in 2007, of which several tracks hit the number one spot for downloads on 7digital. They are currently working on an improved version of the album and a follow up album. Challis have a large variety of influence and styles, comprising mainly of jazz and rock with religious roots. They try to tell a story and uplift you with their music, and many of their songs journal their experiences, good and bad, through the years of their life.
