Chainsaw Sacrifice is a thrash'n'death recording project led by Den K from Anchorage Alaska. On the First Cuts EP, Den K handled the recording, music, lyrics, guitar, and distribution. Another prominent participant is a virtuoso multi-instrumentalist Lex Gavron from Asvenzim, a russian death metal band. Lex was at the time (1998-99) a student in Anchorage. Lex produced the drum tracks for First Cut and most of Steel. After Lex went back home to russian far east, Den K programmed the rest of drums in a similar style to Lex's earlier demos. The amount of recorded material was limited due to the fact that both were busy with college studies. Currently Chainsaw Sacrifice is based in US Pacific Northwest.
