Chaim Warshawsky

Chaim Warshawsky was born and raised in an American Jewish military family. He began leading worship and studying Hebrew and cantorial arts in high school, and continued as musical director of the Jewish choir and Harmonizer's barbershop quartet at the United States Military Academy at West Point until his graduation and commission as an Army Engineer officer in 1984. After 6 years of military service, including two years in Egypt on diplomatic status, he completed his masters in civil engineering and management from the University of Maryland and immigrated to Israel in 1992. Chaim Warshawsky resides in the Jerusalem area, and has been the worship leader and cantor for several well-known Israeli congregations. As a former student of the Jerusalem School for Cantorial Arts and Music under the auspices of the renowned cantor Dr. David Weintraub, he continues to participate in musical recording projects in Israel, and is currently developing a full liturgy for Messianic congregations that incorporates ancient Hebraic melodies and prayers with more modern forms of music.
