After playing guitar and singing in various rock and cover bands for almost seven years, Chad took some time off only to find that he was not at his best when not playing music. He went back to music this time for fun and to get back to his roots, back to the honesty of truly great songwriters and country music that made sense and changed people's lives. Eventually a good friend introduced him to Red Dirt Music. Not being a huge fan of labels and not thinking that all music can be categorized, he was proud to say that in this family, his songwriting fit. When Chad decided to give playing shows a try he was still driving an 18 wheeler across America, so shows were pretty few and far between but he had alot of time to spend with his songwriting. After about six months of playing shows he decided that it was time to change his focus. In January of 2007 Chad decided to play full time and try to keep myself alive solely with his guitar. When Chad began his journey he was playing for tips and free beer in any place that would have him, then as fate would have it Chad found Stillwater, Ok. The " Austin" of Oklahoma if you will. In the last couple of years he has had the pleasure of meeting and playing with some of the greatest names in the scene. Chad has had the opportunity to share the stage with such great folks as: Johnny Cooper, Scott Evans, Brandon Jenkins, Scott Copeland, The Great Divide, Jason Boland, Mike McClure, Bleu Edmondson, No Justice, Tom Skinner and some great up a
