Cesare Acelli (also: Cesare Accelli; before 1580 - after 1588) was an Italian composer. Since Cesare Acellii's madrigals are included in three anthologies containing works by other Mantua composers, it is assumed that he was from Mantua. Between 1586 and 1588 five madrigals composed by Cesare Acelli for three to five voices were published, which are still known today. He also wrote the poem L'inargentato Lido, which Gasparo Zerto set to music.
