Ithaca, NY's Cerulean City has been exploring the country this year, bringing their fresh instrumental sound to clubs and festivals in every corner of the US. The trio, consisting of only guitar, bass and drums, have garnered recognition for their wide open live shows. Some have described the sound as "Electro Slam Jazz." Their debut album "Trio Grande" has received rave reviews and is a testement to this hard working band's first year on the road. They have played to packed houses at some of America's greatest venues including "CBGB's" in NYC, "Nectars" in Vermont, "The Double Diamond" in Aspen, "The Pour House" in Raleigh, "Moondoggies" in Las Vegas, "The Ranch Bowl" in Omaha, and "The Haunt" in Ithaca, NY. Cerulean City has shared bills with bands like Sam Kininger Band, Jennifer Hartswick Band, John Molo's Modereko, RAQ, Next Tribe, Revision, Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root, Color And Talea, The Bridge, Caveman, Hot Buttered Rum String Band, Lotus, Michael Franti's Spearhead, Gordon Stone Band, etc...
