Cenk is a band formed in Lausanne, Switzerland in 2004. The original lineup consisted of Fab, Soko and Xurxx. After recording a first demo ("First draft") they found their drummer Nico and recorded live a second one, "Congrès Extraordinaire des Nanophysiciens en Kilt". In 2005 comes their second guitarist Markass and record Canari Esquimau de Nonante Kilos and get rewarded as the third best rock'n'roll band in Switzerland by magazine "RealRocker". In 2006, Cenk tours in France and Galicia (Spain) before Markass leaves the band. Some months later, JYC arrives with guitar and saxophons. 2007 they take part to the tribute album to Os Diplomáticos de Monte-Alto, performing the song Antuerpe. 2009 they released an new ep called Chantons Ensemble un Nouveau Krach that can be fownloaded for free on their website.
