Newcomer recording artist/actress Celica Westbrook is emerging onto the pop music scene with a voice that is as powerful as it is heavenly; a name that means just that: celestial or heavenly. At first glance, one might mistake Celica as a typical fun-loving 14 year old girl. But once you experience her vocal prowess, it is undeniably clear that her gift is far from typical. Her ability to articulate complex melodies effortlessly with such soul and conviction at such an early age immediately draws comparisons to artists like Mariah Carey or Christina Aguilera. “It’s is not a matter of ‘if,’ but ‘when’ for Celica” says Keith Thomas, her Grammy Award-winning producer and manager. “We look forward to seeing where her blossoming career takes her.” Keith first took notice of Celica when she was 11 after hearing her vocal performance of “Shades of Rain,” a song produced by up and coming Nashville producer Jonathan Crone of Levosia Entertainment, and featured in a local film in which Celica also acted. In fact, the song New Moon is a collaborative effort of both parents and skillful songwriters, Steve and Amy Westbrook.
