Celestialshock began their career in March 2006 in Rionero in Vulture (PZ). The members of the band are: Donatello (vocals/guitar), Sara(base guitar) and Raffaele (drums). In August 2006 they participated to the Vulcanica Festival, in Rionero, as a support band of well-known Italian artists such as Bandabassotti and Africa Unite. Their first EP, which came out shortly after, contains tracks such as “BloodyMunch” and “Velvet Joy”, songs with influences of punk and psychedelic rock. They also made two covers: “Don’t Cry no tears” (Neil Young) and “The Summer” (Yo la Tengo). After numerous live shows in the southern Italian region of Basilicata, in April 2008 they obtained the second place at the Italia Wave Basilicata battle of the bands. In Agosto 2008 they supported 24 Grana at the Terme Live and Pollino Music Festivals. They also performed at the Vulcanica Live Festival2008. Their new album, “Love-fi songs for me”, came out in April 2009.
