Celeste Carballo was born on September 21th, 1956 in the town Villa Devoto from the capital city. When she was 19 years old, she entered to the Pshychology University at the UBA, giving an important step on her life: she joined to her first band, Alter Ego. The band, was formed by her friend and guitarist, Oscar Mangione, and Pedro Aznar as the drummer, incorporing a teenager Celeste which was in pure growning. "Mi último Blues" (My Last Blues) was part of the stuff from the band when it is presented on the Kraft Auditory of Buenos Aires, in april of 1976. The band broke up after a short time and Celeste keeps on singing during the following year in Villa Gesel as a solo artist.Celeste's music was influenced by 70s rock argentinian bands such as Pappo's Blues, La Máquina de Hacer Pájaros, Pescado Rabioso and Aquelarre. In 1982, after many years of presence in the underground scene,she recorded her first album, "Me Vuelvo Cada Día Más Loca" ("I'm Becoming Crazier Everyday") She's the first woman who edited a rock album that became a Gold Disc before its release. In "Me Vuelvo Cada Día Más Loca", Celeste is the author and performer of "Es La Vida Que Me Alcanza" ("It's the life that comforts me"), "Una canción diferente" ("A different song") and "Querido Coronel Pringles" ("Dear Coronel Pringles"), also she recorded "Desconfío de la vida" ("I don't trust in life"), originally made by Pappo, and finally "Mi último blues" connecting her begginnings with her successfull debut in
