about

Ceathrar was an Irish music ensemble comprising Maighréad Ní Dhomhnaill (vocals), Mícheál Ó Domhnaill (guitar, vocals), Tríona Ní Dhomhnaill (clavinet, harpsichord), and Dónal Lunny (bouzouki). Their recording "Faoileán" was released in 1975 as a split single (with a tune by Clannad) on the Gael-Linn label under the four members' individual names, while on later compilations the track is listed with the artist name Ceathrar.
