Cayne was formed in 1999 by former Lacuna Coil guitarists Claudio Leo and Raffaele Zagaria, after their decision to leave the band following the release the release of the eponymous EP for Century Media. They signed a record deal with Scarlet in Milan to record their first album, “Old Faded Pictures”, which was released in 2001. In 2002, after the album tour, the band took a step back and stayed in the background for 4 years. That was, until Claudio Leo met Marco Barusso (guitarist and producer). Cayne are now back with their self-titled album, delivering unforgettable melodies and outstanding technical and musical skills in an album of unique impact.
