Anime, Cartoon-Network, video game gems and a bit of life experiences all play a role in the music of Cauzndefx. Cauzndefx isn't your average lyricist. Born in Dayton Ohio he soon moved to Washington DC where he grew up most of his life. He spent his early musical years listening to artists such as Jimi Hendrix, Cameo (popular for the song: Word Up), Prince, Michael Jackson, Journey, Styx, Queen & Meatloaf. It wasn't until his high school years when he began to dwell into the underground world of hip hop. Artists such as Vast Aire, Vordul Mega, Eminem, Dipset, Cage, Madlib, Quasimoto, Common, Airospace and many others have influenced and shaped his style of lyricism.
