Named for the dysfunctional family from Iain Banks’ essential debut, “The Wasp Factory”, Cauldhame perform industrial music, currently hovering in a death ambient/industrial murk pierced by elements of outright noise and power electronics, creating threnodies for darkness behind closed doors, the bleakness of dereliction and urban blight, and the slow disintegration of the mind into despair from the incessant soul-destroying assaults of everyday life.
