Cato Salsa Experience consists of Christian Engfelt, Cato Thomassen, Jon Magne Riise and Bård Enerstad (replaced Nina Bjørndalen in 2003). The group formed in Oslo, Norway in January of 1998. They released a self titled EP in March of 1998 through their own record label, Garralda Records. They released their debut album, "A Good Tip for a Good Time" in the UK in 2000 through Shellshock Distribution. In 2002 Cato Salsa Experience signs to American label Emperor Norton to distribute their album. In 2003 they released their second album, "The Fruit Is Still Fresh", on Garralda/Tuba records. It got lots of good critics in the press. In 2005 they released their third album,"No. 3", on Garralda/Tuba records.
