Catina Copeland Rosemond has a unique gift that creates a worshipful atmosphere in which people immediately feel the presence of God. Her performance and ministry is nothing less than professional and her ministry exhilarates and captivates a heart full of passion as she renders true praise and worship to those who would listen. Every time she opens her mouth there is a connection with the person’s spirit causing them to feel the melodic words resonating deep inside them. Catina invites the depressed, down trodden and hopeless person to feel the love of God as she moves them from a spectator to a participator in worship. Catina, a native of York, PA followed a normal “preacher’s kid” childhood lifestyle. Her parents, Bishop Dr. Richard A. Copeland and Evangelist Ruthel Copeland are pastors in the Church Of God In Christ(COGIC). At age 4, she sang her first solo and at age 9 she organized her first choir. She was trained in the National COGIC choir by Dr. Matti Moss Clark and Twinkie Clark of the Clark Sisters. In 1989, Catina’s musical career catapulted when she was signed with Star Fame Productions(SFP) in Atlanta, GA. While with SFP, she had the #1 musical video for six consecutive weeks and sang the “Star Spangle Banner” for the Junior Olympics. In the summer of 1991, Catina was in a tragic car accident that left her physically disfigured and nearly blind. It was an attempt for the enemy to destroy here purpose in life.
