Llandeilo, United Kingdom (2005 – 2006) Formed as a solo project while in university by Darran Meader in 2005, Cat In A Jar started as a rough collection of guitar melodies recorded through a 15 watt Fender practice amp. The recordings caught the attention of a nearby musician going by the name of Phono. Both once being in the same school together, now came together to turn the project into a electronic group. From there the first song 'Another' Day was born. Recruiting a third member into mix; Aidan, Cat In A Jar set out to create instrumental electronic songs using the guitar melodies as a base, and to have guest vocalists for each piece. The first being another electronic artist all the way from Texas (SixGuns). Unfortunately not too long after 'Another Day' was done, the project gradually seemed to slip away from being a priority.
