Cassette Fighter is a synthpop band formed in 2013. The band consists of Nicky Flowers and Apollo and it is based in Northampton, MA. Cassette Fighter songs are based primarily around computerized synth effects and programmed drum tracks, but instruments such as keytar, ukulele, stylophone, and electronic keyboards are also incorporated. Songs are usually instrumental but sometimes include vocals. Space and feelings are recurring themes. Cassette Fighter has so far released one single, 3 EPs, and are currently working on their debut LP, due summer 2015.
