“Life’s too short for compromises" is one of the most often used expressions by Cassandra Sterling. Therefore one shouldn’t be at all surprised that she likes to combine music styles without any rules. Besides tight Hip Hop/R’n’B grooves, she also loves rough guitars, and a lot of electronic sounds. Her songs are about daily struggles, celebrations of life, deep anger, and even deeper romances. Moods and emotions are very important, and they create the influences for her songs. She studied singing at the Richard Strauss Conservatory in Germany. She went on to study the guitar, acting, as well as ballet, jazz, hip hop and modern dance. Cassandra produced 3 songs and is currently working on new ones with Detroit-based producer Jimmy Ward. “What U Want”, “How Many Timez?”, co-produced with Tom Curtis (Nelly&St.Lunatics), and “Dragonfly” produced by songwriter David Brownstein have scored high in online charts and triggering interest from top producers.
