God had Moses; Moreno Valley, CA has Cashius Green, aka Pastor Green. While the Young Pastor may be less commonly known than the Almighty’s, Cashius’ ability to make waves (while parting the C’s) will catapult Him into relevance in a savage age where Moses has no bearing. Moses was a prophet, fleeing the desert; Cashius Green is profit, made of the desert. But, profit’s never alone. The Pastor connected with UTB Lifestyle (Under the Bottom), founded by fellow misfits Reem Heffner and Dre Biggity. Armed by the heat-induced madness of the Inland Empire, the congregation of the Art Goon was born, holding daily sermons at their collective space, affectionately dubbed “The Man$ion.” Cashius Green derives much of His influence from the influx of rotating creativity that flows in and out of the Moreno Valley dwelling each day. Cashius’ writing and overall style are as unique and complex as the company He keeps. The Pastor moves in turtle time (his self-proclaimed spirit animal), taking in and digesting every aspect of his surroundings, unnoticed. Much like the turtle, He remains mostly elusive, but can be found dressed and ready to go deep-sea diving during the midnight hours.
